Abstract

圖2描繪可用於圖1之網路化環境中之本發明之網路化排線之一實施例50。如網路化應用中所使用,排線52可包括套裝於一撓性護套(例如一外蓋護套)中之複數個絕緣絞合導線對。絞合導線對之數目(例如具有八個導線之四個導體對、具有十個導線之五個導體對等等)可根據應用而變動。在所展示之實施例中,一連接器總成或連接器罩54包括耦合至一防護罩58之一連接器56,且該連接器罩耦合至排線52之一端。用於乙太網路化應用之一典型連接器56之一實例係一RJ-45或8P8C連接器(常用於網路化電腦中之八導線或八接針連接器)。可用之一連接器56之另一實例係一RJ-50或10P10C連接器(十導體或十接針連接器)。防護罩58可(例如)包覆至連接器56及/或排線52上。整體連接器(連接器及防護罩)在[實施方式]及隨附技術方案中將被稱為連接器罩。
用於可包含於排線52中之網路化排線之一些熟知標準包含類別5(其大體上包含套裝於一撓性外套層中之四個絕緣絞合銅線)、類別5A、類別5E、類別6(例如,用於十億位元乙太網路及/或其他網路協定)、類別7及/或後來發展之額外類別。後來標準(例如Cat-6)通常與早先標準(例如CAT 5、CAT 3)回溯相容。Cat-6規格一般比Cat-5對串擾及系統雜訊更嚴格。例如,Cat-6提供高達250兆赫之效能,且可適合於10BASE-T、100BASE-TX(快速乙太網路)、1000BASE-T/1000BASE-TX(吉比特乙太網)及10GBASE-T(100憶位元乙太網路)。Cat-6在用於10GBASE-T時具有一相對較低最大長度。Cat-6A排
線或擴充Cat-6以500兆赫為特徵且已進一步改良外來串擾特性以容許10GBASE-T用於相同於其他協定之最大排線長度。若干其他標準在使用中,且可用於本發明之可追蹤網路化排線之實施例中。在一些實施例中,一或多個(例如一導線對中之兩個)額外導線(其可稱為追蹤器線或指示器線)可添加至或包含於一網路化排線(例如一Cat-5或Cat-6排線)中,使得該(等)額外導線用於本文所描述之追蹤功能中。例如,具有十個導線之一排線52或具有八導線RJ-45連接器之導體之使用容許五個導線對之一者用作為排線之端處之電啟動示警器(例如燈)之間之一連續不間斷路經。本發明之實施例中之排線、導線、導線對及/或導體可同軸、雙軸、絞合、非絞合、屏蔽、非屏蔽及/或結合,如此項技術中所知。

圖6描繪防護罩58之一下透視圖。在所展示之實施例中,防護罩58經組態以用於其中電源90係一電池之一實施例。例如,在所展示之實施例中,防護罩58包括一入口92,其經組態以被移動至一敞開位置以暴露經組態以接收該電池之一電池端口94(例如,可將該電池插入至電池端口94中)。各種電池可用於本發明之排線之實施例。例如,一CR927鋰電池或其他3伏特電池可用於上文所討論之電路組件。諸多類似電池可購自各種製造商,且可使用允許本發明中所描述之功能性之任何電池。
圖7描繪用於本發明之排線之一連接罩之一直流(DC)電路之一實施例120之一示意圖。一積體電路124展示為一控制器82(圖4)之一實例。一發光二極體(LED)128展示為一示警器64之一實例。在所展示之實施例中,LED 128與晶片124之接針7及電池90之一第一連接端或正連接端132電連接,且經由LED 128與電池90之間之連接端而與晶片124之接針11電連接。電阻器136連接於晶片124之接針8與9之間,
且經組態以判定發送至LED 128之電力脈衝之頻率及持續時間。例如,就一X1622 IC晶片(購自Fulikai Electronic Technologies(中國))而言,一220歐姆電阻器136將輸送引起LED 128閃爍達約19秒之脈衝。一較小電阻器(具有較低電阻之電阻器)將增大閃爍之頻率且縮短閃爍之總持續時間。在其中控制器(例如IC晶片)經組態以根據一開關之操作方式而在兩個或兩個以上預定時間之一者內啟動(若干)示警器之實施例中,電路可包含兩個或兩個以上電阻器136(例如,各具有一不同電阻)以給(若干)示警器提供啟動之不同持續時間。一開關140展示為可操作以開始在指定或預定時間量內使至LED之電力脈動之開關72(圖5)之一實例。電池90之接地側或負側133連接至開關140之一第一側142以及積體電路124之接針1及14。最後,電路120連接至具有導體144及148之一指示器線對。指示器線對144及148可連接至第二連接器罩之一第二電路,且如上文所討論,該第二電路可相同於或可不同於電路120,只要接通任一端上之一開關(例如140),則啟動兩個示警器。
圖8繪示用於減少導線對之間之串擾之一分離器之一實施例150。在所展示之實施例中,分離器150經定尺寸以完全裝配於連接器罩54內。分離器150可包括一非導電材料(例如可由一非導電材料模製),且可包含各用於四個(例如絞合)導線對(例如來自排線52)之一不同者之複數個通道160、170、180及190。在所展示之實施例中,分離器150經組態以維持通過連接器罩54之長度之導線對之間(例如連接器中之導線之暴露端與經剝除以將排線連接至罩54之外排線絕緣材料之一端之間)之分離。在一些實施例中,該等通道之一者(例如通道180)可裝載指示器線或線對以及各自導線對。
在所展示之實施例中,分離器150經組態以容許或允許連接器罩54內包含一適合電路(例如120),同時滿足由Cat-6及/或Cat-6A標準要
求之最小串擾之要求。例如,圖9繪示包含分離器150之本發明之排線之一實施例之一分解圖。如上文所描述,分離器150接受四個絞合線對(圖中未展示)且使四個絞合線對(圖中未顯示)與排線220分離,如上文所描述(例如,四個導線對及指示器線或線對可分別安置或串通於分離器150之四個通道中)。含有或耦合至用於追蹤器功能性之電子器件(例如針對電路120所描述)之一印刷電路板(PCB)230(其可類似於PCB 76)可安置於分離器150下方及/或耦合至分離器150(且連接至指示器線或線對)。一按鈕240(例如類似於按鈕68)可安置於PCB 230下方,使得按鈕240可經按壓以操作開關。一電源250(類似於電源90,例如一電池)可安置於分離器150與一電源蓋260之間。在所展示之實施例中,整個總成位於連接器罩(類似於連接器56之連接器270,及類似於防護罩58之一防護罩)內。
在一些實施例中,電源供應器可包括一或多個組件來替代一電池,或可包括一或多個組件以及一電池。例如,電源可包括一或多個電容器。在一些實施例中,本發明之網路化排線經組態使得若排線電連接至電力於乙太網路(POE)電源設備(PSE),則即使排線亦未電連接至一分離POE供電器件(PD),但PSE會將電力輸送至排線。例如,在一些實施例中,排線可包括併入至連接器罩之至少一者中之一電阻器(其可稱為一POE電阻器),該電阻器電連接至排線中之導線對之至少一者(例如,電路120中之連接端144與148之間),使得若排線電連接至POE PSE,則即使排線亦未電連接至一分離POE PD,但PSE會將電力輸送至排線。此一電阻器可具有一或多個POE標準所需之任何適合電阻(例如25千歐姆)。
POE輸送大體上包含具有PSE與一PSD之間之信號之一交換的一「交握」或初始化程序,其中PSE驗證:PD係標準編輯的且判定待輸送至PD之最大電量。一般而言,一旦完成交握且PSE開始將電力輸送
至PD,則若PD在一預定時間段內(例如100秒)內停止汲取電力,則PSE將停止將電力輸送至PD。在其中排線經組態以需要POE通電(即使未連接至一外部PD)之實施例中,排線可包含能夠利用PSE來執行初始「交握」或初始化程序之任何適合組態。例如,在一些實施例中,排線可經組態以需要一初始叢發或相對較高電量來將來自PSE之最大電力位準設定為相對較高(例如1瓦特)且接著連續維持至少一最小或相對較低電力需求(例如0.01瓦特)以確保PSE不會停止將電力輸送至排線。例如,在具有一電池之實施例中,排線可經組態以(例如在交握程序之後)僅在該電池低於一臨限值且被充電時需要電力高於來自PSE之最小電力位準,但需要來自PSE之至少最小電力位準(即使該電池未被充電)來確保來自PSE之電力恆定可用。例如,一或兩個連接器罩可包含併入至提供本發明中所描述之追蹤功能性之電路中及/或與該電路連通之一適當POE電路(諸如可包含於POE供電器件中)。在其他實施例中,排線未經組態以在完成交握之後維持來自PSE之一最小電力需求,使得排線將在被插入時對電池充分充電,但一旦電池已充滿電,則容許PSE停止輸送電力。
在一些實施例中,排線包括一充電電路,其耦合至導線對之至少一者(POE電阻器耦合至該至少一導線對),且經組態使得若排線電連接至POE PSE,則該充電電路可將電流自PSE傳送至電源(例如一可再充電電池、一電容器等等)。在一些實施例中,POE電阻器包含於控制器耦合至其之一PCB中。在一些實施例中,控制器經組態使得若排線電連接至POE PSE,則控制器可將電流自PSE(或更明確言之,POE PSE)導引至電池(例如,若電池降至低於一臨限電壓,諸如(例如)電池之額定電壓之60%)。在一些實施例中,控制器經組態以僅在電池低於該臨限電壓時自POE PSE導引電流。在此等實施例中,該電路(例如類似於電路120)可包含一適合充電子電路,如此項技術中所
知。
在一些實施例中,一射頻識別電路(常稱為一RFID標籤)替換或補充積體電路82。一RFID標籤之使用可(例如)儲存與排線之一或兩端連接至其之一器件有關之資訊,諸如(例如)以下之一或多者:媒體存取控制位址(MAC位址)、插口編號、埠位址、IP位址、工作站識別符、伺服器識別符及/或其他資訊。接著,使用者可使用一RFID閱讀器來掃描網路化排線之一端以在無需實體地搜尋排線之另一端之情況下獲得與排線之相對端耦合於其處之位置有關之資訊。
現參考圖10至圖14,本發明之排線追蹤器工藝及技術亦可包含於光纖排線中。本發明之光纖排線大體上包括一或多個光纖及一或多個導體(例如導線)以沿該(等)光纖之長度傳送電流以實現追蹤功能性。用於光纖排線之連接器之實例包含單光纖(例如LC)連接器、多光纖(例如MPO及/或MTP)連接器及/或任何其他光纖連接器(例如SC、ST及類似者)。追蹤器測試之電子器件及功能性可非常類似於(若非相同)上文針對導線網路化排線所描述之電子器件及功能性。例如,圖10繪示一可追蹤光纖排線系統300之一端。一雙光纖連接器310之一實例展示為具有一按鈕320,在此實施例中,按鈕320亦用作電啟動示警器(即,此實施例中之一發光按鈕)。本發明含有依相同於上文所描述之非光纖實施例之方式操作之其他元件(電源、PCB板等等)。當然,因為排線300係一光纖排線,所以無需包含分離器150。
圖11至圖14描繪具有光纖排線連接器罩310a、310b、310c之排線300a、300b、300c之各種實施例。連接器罩310a、310b、310c之各者在某些方面上類似於美國專利第8,465,317號('317專利,其以引用的方式併入以在一定程度上提供遠端釋放連接器之各種版本之細節)中所揭示之遠端釋放連接器,此係因為連接器罩310a、310b、310c各包含一延伸器或遠端釋放突片(330a、330b、330c),其改良在高密度環

- 如請求項1之網路化排線,其進一步包括:一第二電啟動示警器,其併入至該等連接器罩之另一者中;其中該手動操作開關經組態以被致動來啟動兩個(both)示警器。
- 如請求項1之網路化排線,其中該電源併入至該連接器罩之該延伸器中。
- 如請求項1之網路化排線,其中該撓性電路亦電耦合至該電源及該手動操作開關。
- 如請求項1之網路化排線,其中該一或多個傳輸線包括一或多個光纖排線。
- 如請求項5之網路化排線,其中該一或多個傳輸線包括兩個光纖排線。
- 如請求項1之網路化排線,其中該一或多個傳輸線包括複數個導線對。
- 如請求項7之網路化排線,其進一步包括:一分離器機構,其併入至各連接器罩中以提供該等導線對之分離以最小化串擾。
- 如請求項1至8中任一項之網路化排線,其中該等連接器罩之至少一者進一步包括一連接器本體,且該延伸器可滑動地耦合至該連接器本體。
- 如請求項9之網路化排線,其中:該連接器本體界定一狹槽,且該延伸器經組態以可滑動地安置於該狹槽中;及該延伸器經組態以可移除地耦合至該連接器本體。
- 如請求項1之網路化排線,其進一步包括:一積體電路晶片,其併入至該等連接器罩之至少一者中且與該電啟動示警器電連接;其中該積體電路晶片在由該手動操作開關啟動時於指定時間量內完成該電路。
- 如請求項11之網路化排線,其中:該積體電路晶片經組態以在指定時間量內使至該電啟動示警器之電力脈動(pulse);及該電源包含一電池。
- 如請求項1之網路化排線,其中該電啟動示警器經組態以發射一聲音或視覺信號。
- 如請求項1之網路化排線,其中該電啟動示警器選自由一發光二極體、一習知燈泡及一液晶視覺指示器組成之群組。
- 一種用於傳輸資料之網路化排線,其包括:一或多個傳輸線,其等套裝於一撓性護套中;一連接器罩,其位於該網路化排線之各端上,各連接器罩包括:一遠端,其經組態以延伸至一配合連接器或插口中;一操縱桿,其經組態以接合該配合連接器或插口以阻止該遠端之移除;及一延伸器,其經組態以耦合至該操縱桿且經組態以被縱向地拉動遠離該遠端以朝向一或多個排線橫向地拉拔該操縱桿之一部分;至少一導線,其沿該一或多個傳輸線之長度部署;一電啟動示警器,其併入至該等連接器罩之一者中;一電源,其併入至該等連接器罩之一者中;一手動操作開關,其併入至該等連接器罩之一者中且電連接至該電啟動示警器、該電源及該至少一導線,且經組態以被致動來啟動該電啟動示警器;其中:該等連接器罩之至少一者進一步包括一連接器本體;該延伸器包括一電路,該電路包含該電啟動示警器、該電源、該手動操作開關及至少一第一導電接點;該至少一導線與該連接器本體上之至少一第二導電接點電連通;及該至少一第一導電接點經組態以接觸該至少一第二導電接點以提供可在該延伸器相對於該連接器本體之移動期間維持之該電路與該至少一導線之間之一電連接。
- 如請求項15之網路化排線,其中該電路包括一撓性電路。
- 如請求項15之網路化排線,其進一步包括:一第二電啟動示警器,其併入至該等連接器罩之另一者中;其中該手動操作開關經組態以被致動來啟動兩個(both)示警器。
- 如請求項17之網路化排線,其中該手動操作開關耦合至該連接器罩之該延伸器。
- 如請求項15之網路化排線,其中:該電源耦合併入至該連接器罩之該延伸器中;及該一或多個傳輸線包括一或多個光纖排線。
- 如請求項15之網路化排線,其中:該電啟動示警器選自由一發光二極體、一習知燈泡及一液晶視覺指示器組成之群組;及該電源包含一電池。
- 一種組裝用於一網路化排線之一連接器罩之方法,該方法包括:將一延伸器耦合至一連接器本體,使得該延伸器可相對於該連接器本體滑動,其中:該連接器本體包括:一遠端,其經組態以延伸至一配合連接器或插口中;及一操縱桿,其經組態以接合該配合連接器或插口以阻止該遠端之移除;該延伸器耦合至該操縱桿,使得該延伸器可被縱向地拉動遠離該遠端以朝向該連接器本體之一縱向軸向內橫向地拉拔該操縱桿之一部分;一電啟動示警器併入至該連接器本體及該延伸器之一者中;及一手動操作開關併入至該連接器本體及該延伸器之一者中,且電連接至該電啟動示警器;其中一撓性電路耦合至該延伸器或併入至該延伸器中,且電耦合至該電啟動示警器及該手動操作開關。
- 如請求項21之方法,其中該連接器罩耦合至一排線,該排線包括一或多個傳輸線及沿該一或多個傳輸線之長度部署之至少一導線。
- 如請求項22之方法,其中:一電源併入至該連接器本體及該延伸器之一者中;及該手動操作開關電連接至該電啟動示警器、該電源及該至少一導線,且經組態以被致動來啟動該電啟動示警器。
- 如請求項23之方法,其中:該手動操作開關耦合至該連接器罩之該延伸器;及該電源耦合至該連接器罩之該延伸器。
- 如請求項21之方法,其中一撓性電路併入至該延伸器中。
