Description
本發明是有關於無線功率傳送之技術領域,且特別是有關於一種利用聚焦超音波來達到無線功率傳送之無線功率傳輸系統及其無線功率傳送裝置與無線功率接收裝置。
就目前而言,已有利用RF訊號來進行無線功率傳輸的技術,例如美國專利US 7068991號就有探討這類的技術及其應用。
然而,RF訊號在生物醫學方面的應用(例如應用於植入式醫學裝置)有其限制。主要原因有三個,其中一個原因,是RF訊號所產生的電磁波可能對生物有害。而另一個原因,是RF訊號在一般的頻率範圍內(例如是3KHz~300MHz)無法做近距離(例如是1公尺以內)聚焦。第三個原因,是RF訊號在超高頻(例如是300MHz以上)時其訊號易被物質吸收而不易傳輸。
本發明提供一種無線功率傳送裝置,其係利用聚焦超音波來進行無線功率傳輸,因此適於生物醫學方面的應用。
本發明另提供一種無線功率接收裝置,其適合與上述之無線功率傳送裝置搭配使用。
本發明再提供一種無線功率傳輸系統,其包括有上述之無線功率傳送裝置與上述之無線功率接收裝置。
本發明提出一種無線功率傳送裝置,其用以與一無線功率接收裝置搭配使用。此無線功率傳送裝置包括有訊號產生器與超音波輸出單元。所述之超音波輸出單元用以依據訊號產生器所輸出之訊號而產生並輸出聚焦超音波,以便上述無線功率接收裝置接收聚焦超音波而據以轉換成電能量。
在本發明之無線功率傳送裝置的一實施例中,上述之超音波輸出單元具有至少一超音波輸出探頭。
在本發明之無線功率傳送裝置的一實施例中,上述之超音波輸出單元係採用單一超音波輸出探頭,以便以固定聚焦方式進行輸出聲場之控制。
在本發明之無線功率傳送裝置的一實施例中,上述之超音波輸出單元係採用多個超音波輸出探頭,以便以動態聚焦方式進行輸出聲場之控制。
在本發明之無線功率傳送裝置的一實施例中,上述之超音波輸出單元更包括有一透鏡。此透鏡用以將超音波輸出探頭所輸出的超音波轉換成上述之聚焦超音波。
在本發明之無線功率傳送裝置的一實施例中,無線功率傳送裝置更包括有功率放大器。此功率放大器耦接於訊號產生器與超音波輸出單元之間,用以放大訊號產生器所產生之訊號。
在本發明之無線功率傳送裝置的一實施例中,無線功率傳送裝置更包括有一編碼器。此編碼器用以輸出編碼資料至訊號產生器,以便訊號產生器依據此編碼資料產生編碼過的訊號。
在本發明之無線功率傳送裝置的一實施例中,無線功率傳送裝置更包括有一控制單元。此控制單元用以控制上述之編碼器產生上述之編碼資料。
此外,本發明另提出一種無線功率接收裝置,其包括有超音波接收單元與功率轉換單元。所述之超音波接收單元用以接收一無線功率傳送裝置所輸出之聚焦超音波,並據以轉換成電能量。而所述之功率轉換單元用以將超音波接收單元所輸出的電能量進行功率轉換,以提供給後端電路使用。
在本發明之無線功率接收裝置的一實施例中,上述之超音波接收單元具有至少一超音波接收探頭。
在本發明之無線功率接收裝置的一實施例中,上述之超音波接收單元係採用單一超音波接收探頭,以便以固定聚焦方式進行接收聲場之控制。
在本發明之無線功率接收裝置的一實施例中,上述之超音波接收單元係採用多個超音波接收探頭,以便以動態聚焦方式進行接收聲場之控制。
在本發明之無線功率接收裝置的一實施例中,無線功率接收裝置更包括有一解碼器。此解碼器用以對功率轉換單元的輸出訊號進行解碼,以取得解碼資料,並提供此解碼資料給後端電路,以便後端電路根據此解碼資料進行對應之操作。
在本發明之無線功率接收裝置的一實施例中,無線功率接收裝置更包括有一能量儲存單元。此能量儲存單元用以儲存功率轉換單元所輸出之電能量,以便進一步供應給後端電路使用。
另外,本發明再提出一種無線功率傳輸系統,其包括有無線功率傳送裝置與無線功率接收裝置。所述之無線功率傳送裝置又包括有訊號產生器與超音波輸出單元。所述之超音波輸出單元用以依據訊號產生器所輸出之訊號而產生並輸出聚焦超音波。而所述之無線功率接收裝置又包括有超音波接收單元與功率轉換單元。所述之超音波接收單元用以接收聚焦超音波,並據以轉換成電能量。而功率轉換單元則用以將超音波接收單元所輸出的電能量進行功率轉換,以提供給後端電路使用。
本發明乃是利用聚焦超音波來進行無線功率傳輸。由於聚焦超音波在空間中有明確之能量傳送位置,因此可將能量集中於接收裝置,提升無線功率傳輸之效率。此外,由於超音波不具輻射性,因此適用於生物醫學方面的應用(例如應用於植入式醫學裝置)。另外,聚焦超音波亦可用來傳輸資訊,達到更多方面的應用。
為讓本發明之實施例的上述和其他目的、特徵和優點能更明顯易懂,下文特舉較佳實施例,並配合所附圖式,作詳細說明如下。
圖1繪示有依照本發明一實施例之無線功率傳輸系統。如圖1所示,此無線功率傳輸系統包括有無線功率傳送裝置120與無線功率接收裝置140,而此無線功率傳輸系統用以提供後端電路160所需的電能量(即操作電源)。無線功率接收裝置140與後端電路160可以是再進一步整合成一裝置,例如是整合成植入式醫學裝置。以下將進一步說明無線功率傳送裝置120與無線功率接收裝置140的實現方式。
無線功率傳送裝置120主要包括有訊號產生器126與超音波輸出單元130。超音波輸出單元130用以依據訊號產生器126所輸出之訊號而產生並輸出聚焦超音波。而此超音波輸出單元130具有至少一超音波輸出探頭(如標示130-1所示)。假若超音波輸出單元130係採用單一超音波輸出探頭,便可採用固定聚焦方式來進行輸出聲場之控制。而若是超音波輸出單元130係採用多個超音波輸出探頭,那麼便可採用動態聚焦方式來進行輸出聲場之控制。此外,若是超音波輸出單元130係採用多個超音波輸出探頭,那麼這些超音波輸出探頭可以是以一維陣列的方式來排列,或是以二維陣列的方式來排列。
相較於傳統的超音波輸出探頭的輸出端為一平面,本發明所採用的超音波輸出探頭的輸出端具有一弧形凹陷,以便產生聚焦超音波,一如圖2所示。請參照圖2,其為本發明之超音波輸出探頭的側視剖面圖。請再參照圖1,而若是超音波輸出單元130係採用傳統的超音波輸出探頭,那麼超音波輸出單元130便需額外採用一透鏡(如標示130-2所示),以便利用此透鏡130-2將超音波輸出探頭130-1所輸出的超音波轉換成上述之聚焦超音波。
較佳地,無線功率傳送裝置120還可進一步採用功率放大器128,並將此功率放大器128耦接於訊號產生器126與超音波輸出單元130之間,以便利用此功率放大器128放大訊號產生器126所產生之訊號。此外,當需利用聚焦超音波傳輸資料或訊息時,那麼無線功率傳送裝置120亦可進一步採用編碼器124,以便利用此編碼器124輸出編碼資料至訊號產生器126,使得訊號產生器126可以依據此編碼資料產生編碼過的訊號。甚至,無線功率傳送裝置120還可進一步採用控制單元122,以便利用此控制單元122控制編碼器124產生上述之編碼資料。
至於無線功率接收裝置140,其主要包括有超音波接收單元142與功率轉換單元144。超音波接收單元142用以接收無線功率傳送裝置120所輸出的聚焦超音波,並據以轉換成電能量。而功率轉換單元144則用以將超音波接收單元142所輸出的電能量進行功率轉換,以提供給後端電路160使用。此超音波接收單元142具有至少一超音波接收探頭(如標示142-1所示)。假若超音波接收單元142係採用單一超音波接收探頭,便可採用固定聚焦方式來進行接收聲場之控制。而若是超音波接收單元142係採用多個超音波接收探頭,那麼便可採用動態聚焦方式來進行接收聲場之控制。此外,若是超音波接收單元142係採用多個超音波接收探頭,那麼這些超音波接收探頭可以是以一維陣列的方式來排列,或是以二維陣列的方式來排列。
較佳地,若是在無線功率傳送裝置120中有採用編碼器124,使得無線功率傳送裝置120所輸出的聚焦超音波中也載有編碼器產生的編碼資料,那麼無線功率接收裝置140中可進一步採用解碼器146,以對應進行解碼操作。也就是說,可以利用此解碼器146對功率轉換單元144的輸出訊號進行解碼,以取得解碼資料。如此,解碼器146便可提供此解碼資料給後端電路160,以便後端電路160根據此解碼資料進行對應之操作。當然,無線功率接收裝置140還可進一步採用能量儲存單元148,以便利用此能量儲存單元148儲存功率轉換單元144所輸出之電能量,進而能進一步供應給後端電路160使用。
綜上所述,本發明乃是利用聚焦超音波來進行無線功率傳輸。由於聚焦超音波在空間中有明確之能量傳送位置,因此可將能量集中於接收裝置,提升無線功率傳輸之效率。此外,由於超音波不具輻射性,因此適用於生物醫學方面的應用(例如應用於植入式醫學裝置)。另外,聚焦超音波亦可用來傳輸資訊,達到更多方面的應用。

Claims (12)
- 一種無線功率傳送裝置,用以與一無線功率接收裝置搭配使用,該無線功率傳送裝置包括:一訊號產生器;一編碼器,用以輸出一具有操作指令的編碼訊號至該訊號產生器,由該訊號產生器輸出;以及一超音波輸出單元,依據該訊號產生器所輸出之訊號而輸出載有該編碼訊號之一聚焦超音波,以便該無線功率接收裝置接收該聚焦超音波而據以轉換成一電能量,其中,該無線功率接收裝置包括一能量儲存單元及一解碼器,該能量儲存單元用以儲存該電能量,以便該無線功率接收裝置將該電能量供應給一後端電路使用,該解碼器用以對該功率轉換單元輸出的該編碼訊號進行解碼,以取得一解碼資料,並提供該解碼資料給該後端電路,以便該後端電路根據該解碼資料進行對應之操作。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之無線功率傳送裝置,其中該超音波輸出單元具有至少一超音波輸出探頭。
- 如申請專利範圍第2項所述之無線功率傳送裝置,其中該超音波輸出單元係採用單一超音波輸出探頭,以便以固定聚焦方式進行輸出聲場之控制。
- 如申請專利範圍第2項所述之無線功率傳送裝置,其中該超音波輸出單元係採用多個超音波輸出探頭,以便以動態聚焦方式進行輸出聲場之控制。
- 如申請專利範圍第2項所述之無線功率傳送裝置,其中該超音波輸出單元更包括:一透鏡,該透鏡用以將該超音波輸出探頭所輸出的超音波轉換成該聚焦超音波。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之無線功率傳送裝置,其更包括:一功率放大器,耦接於該訊號產生器與該超音波輸出單元之間,用以放大該訊號產生器所產生之訊號。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之無線功率傳送裝置,其更包括:一控制單元,用以控制該編碼器產生該編碼資料。
- 一種無線功率接收裝置,用以與一無線功率傳送裝置搭配使用,該無線功率接收裝置包括:一超音波接收單元,用以接收該無線功率傳送裝置所輸出之載有編碼訊號之一聚焦超音波,令該聚焦超音波轉換成電能量;一功率轉換單元,用以將該超音波接收單元所輸出的電能量進行功率轉換,以供一後端電路受該電能量驅動;一能量儲存單元,用以儲存該功率轉換單元所輸出之該電能量,以便進一步供應給該後端電路使用;以及一解碼器,用以對該功率轉換單元輸出的該編碼訊號進行解碼,以取得一解碼資料,並提供該解碼資料給該後端電路, 以便該後端電路根據該解碼資料進行對應之操作。
- 如申請專利範圍第8項所述之無線功率接收裝置,其中該超音波接收單元具有至少一超音波接收探頭。
- 如申請專利範圍第9項所述之無線功率接收裝置,其中該超音波接收單元係採用單一超音波接收探頭,以便以固定聚焦方式進行接收聲場之控制。
- 如申請專利範圍第9項所述之無線功率接收裝置,其中該超音波接收單元係採用多個超音波接收探頭,以便以動態聚焦方式進行接收聲場之控制。
- 一種無線功率傳輸系統,包括:一無線功率傳送裝置,包括:一訊號產生器;一編碼器,用以輸出一具有操作指令的編碼訊號至該訊號產生器,由該訊號產生器輸出;以及一超音波輸出單元,依據該訊號產生器所輸出載有該編碼訊號之訊號輸出一聚焦超音波;以及一無線功率接收裝置,包括:一超音波接收單元,用以接收該聚焦超音波,令該聚焦超音波轉換成電能量;一功率轉換單元,用以將該超音波接收單元所輸出的電能量進行功率轉換,以提供給一後端電路受該電能量驅動;一能量儲存單元,用以儲存該功率轉換單元所輸出之 該電能量,以便進一步供應給該後端電路使用;以及一解碼器,用以對該功率轉換單元輸出的該編碼訊號進行解碼,以取得一解碼資料,並提供該解碼資料給該後端電路,以便該後端電路根據該解碼資料進行對應之操作。
