Description

照明工具之安裝台
本發明係關於一種工具安裝組件。更具體言之,本發明係關於一種用於照明工具之安裝組件。
現今已知可提供各種產品安裝能力之系統。舉例而言,系統可用於將電腦、個人數位助理(PDA)、全球定位系統(GPS)裝置或其類似物安置於汽車儀錶板或擋風板上。目前可自美國華盛頓州的西雅圖之Ram Mounting Systems獲得一系列安裝台。此等安裝台或安裝系統允許將裝置永久或臨時地安裝至多種不同表面。
通常而言,安裝台包括各種接頭諸如球窩接頭(Ball and Socket Joints)、鉸鏈及其類似物,以允許相對於彼此來接合元件。舉例而言,前述安裝台包括附著於一表面之基座與以鉸鍊接合至該基座之臂。一窩穴接頭安裝於該臂上。一球體安裝至插入該窩穴中之該裝置(舉例而言,藉由嚙合該裝置之載具或螺紋元件)。因此,可相對於該裝置所安裝處之表面來操作該裝置。

大多數燈為掌上型,因此不便於操作(轉向、旋轉等) 以進行檢測。一種已知之安裝系統包括一具有莖桿之柱體,莖桿係用以將燈具安裝於其上。然而,該等系統並未提供照亮所需區域之強大靈活性。通常需要將該燈安裝於一檢測臺上且能夠移動該燈,以使燈可定朝向該部件。
因此,需要一種靈活性及可操作性高之燈具安裝組件。所需者為此安裝組件能與標準之已知安裝系統構件一同使用。更需者為此一安裝組件能將燈具定位在特定、所期望的位置處,且將燈具緊固地夾持於該位置。
本發明之一態樣係提供一種照明工具之安裝台,以用於一相關之工具臺上。該照明工具(較佳地在工具把柄上)具有一工具孔於其中。該安裝台包括一球形接頭部分,該球形接頭部分具有一球體,該球體用於與一相關之窩穴接頭嚙合。該球形接頭部分具有一自其延伸之支腳。較佳地,該支腳具有螺紋。
一楔型鎖具有一用於嚙合該支腳之軸環。一較佳之軸環具有一相配螺紋。一支架安裝於軸環,以界定一縱向軸。一對指形元件安裝於該支架,以相對於該支架進行樞轉移動。該等指形元件朝向軸及遠離軸移動,且因此彼此相向及背離移動。
該楔型鎖包括一楔體,該楔體可沿該軸在該等指形元件間移動,以在楔體朝向支架向內移動時,向外推動該等指形元件。在本安裝台中,該等指形元件包括自其自由端 向外延伸之鎖定突出部。
該楔型鎖以支架之至少一部分及工具孔中之該等指形元件來定位,且在該等指形元件之間拉入該楔體,以向外推動該等指形元件,從而將楔型鎖緊固於工具孔中。將該球形部分旋入軸環中,以將該球形部分安裝至該工具把柄。

現參看圖式且尤其參看圖1,其展示一在安裝台12上之例示性黑燈或紫外燈(UV)10,其用於檢測台14。燈10可為市售模型,諸如可購自伊利諾州,Glenview之Magnaflux(一ITW公司)的ZB-100F。
由於燈10用於檢測加工部件P上之瑕疵及其類似物,所以需要能夠將燈10對準部件P之特定區域上。本安裝台12使用多個已知之安裝系統的部件,即接合臂16,及例如與新穎工具安裝台、臂安裝件與夾具結合之窩穴接頭18,用以提供靈活且易於操作之工具安裝系統1。
用於與該窩穴接頭18嚙合之一球體20係安裝至工具(燈)10,可能安裝於該工具把柄22上。該球體20在工具孔或開口24處,使用一楔型鎖(wedge-lock)26安裝至該工具把柄22。該楔型鎖26包括一具有一開口30之基座軸環28,該球體20安裝於該開口上。該球體20包括一支腳,諸如自其延伸,以與軸環開口30中之相配螺紋34螺紋嚙合的螺紋支腳32。應瞭解,亦可使用其他安裝構造,諸如卡栓安裝台及其類似物。一支架36安裝至軸環28。如軸線A所示,該軸環28與支架36共線。
該元件26包括一對安裝至支架36以相對於該軸環28 進行樞轉移動之指形元件38。該等指形元件38包括在指形元件38之自由端42處,自指形元件38向外突出的鎖定突出部40。

該等指形元件38則保持在朝向彼此偏移。據此,當旋轉該螺桿48,以使楔體44在該等指形元件38間更深入地移動時,該楔體44阻止該偏移。然而,偏移亦有助於聚攏該等指形元件38,以防止該楔型鎖26在該工具把柄孔24內結合。可藉由定位於該等指形元件38周圍之一彈性元件(諸如彈性部件54)提供偏移。
在使用本安裝台12時,將該楔型鎖部分26(移除了該球體20)定位於該把柄開口24中。該楔型鎖26必須處 於收縮狀態(即該楔體44自該等指形元件38之間收回),以將該楔型鎖26插入該開口24中。當該楔型鎖26定位於該把柄22中時,該螺桿48被轉動(諸如藉由旋轉該頭部52)。在一可能之配置中,順時針旋轉該螺桿48,以在該等指形元件38之間向上拉動該楔體44。將該楔體44向上緊密地拉入該等指形元件38中,以將該楔型鎖26緊固於該把柄22中。該鎖定突出部40嚙合該把柄開口24之內表面,並將楔型鎖26緊固(或鎖定)至該把柄22。該球形支腳32可接著旋入該軸環開口30內,以將該球體20緊固至該工具10。因為該球形支腳32與該軸環28之接頭為一金屬與金屬間之連接,所以其螺紋磨損及折斷之可能性遠比塑膠照明工具把柄中之螺紋連接小。

該安裝台12包括具有本體72之夾具70,該本體72包括具有一開口76之前板74。該上部基座78安裝於該板74之頂部,且一托架80安裝於該基座78與該前板74相對之一側面上。該托架80包括一向下延伸之板82(平行於前板74且與該前板74間隔)及一向後延伸之下部支腳84。該臂16安置於該板狀支腳84上。
一制動器86係安裝於該前板74與該托架80之間。一可旋轉旋鈕88安裝於該制動器86上,以允許該制動器86 在該前板74與該托架80之間橫向移動。一螺紋軸90安裝於旋鈕88上,旋鈕88係旋入制動器86中的開口92內。該制動器86在其上部拐角處具有一切口部分94,用以將該夾具70安裝於該固定台64上。
在使用時,該夾具70在該向外捲之邊界60上方,附著於該固定台的前表面62。在該邊界60上方該夾具70以該夾具本體72來定位,且該固定台的前表面62位於該夾具前板74與該托架80之間。該制動器86定位於該固定台的前表面62與該夾具前板74之間。經由該前板開口76插入該旋鈕軸90,且將其與該制動器86螺紋嚙合。當該旋鈕88旋轉時,該制動器嚙合該固定台的前表面62,以將該安裝台12緊固至該固定台64。

Claims (11)

  10. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之安裝台,其包括可操作地連接至該球形接頭部分的一夾具,該夾具適合於將該球形接頭部分間接緊固至一固定台,該夾具包括一前板、一平行於該前板且與該前板間隔之托架,及一安置於該前板與 該托架之間並可在其間移動之制動元件,該制動元件可朝向該固定台之一前表面移動,以將該夾具緊固至該固定台。
  11. 如申請專利範圍第10項所述之安裝台,其中該夾具包括一旋鈕,其可操作地連接至該制動元件,以移動該制動元件使其與該固定台的前表面嚙合及脫嚙。
