Description
本發明是有關於一種電子紙顯示器,且特別是有關於一種具有觸控面板模組之電子紙顯示器。
常見之觸控面板模組包括電阻式和電容式。其中電阻式包含一片標準的玻璃面板,上面覆蓋一傳導和一電阻金屬層,兩層間用間隔器區隔開來,當使用者接觸螢幕時,傳導層和電阻金屬層會接觸在一起,觸控面板控制器藉由電場的改變檢測觸控位置。而電容式採用的是一電容感測器,當手指接觸到螢幕造成感測器的電容場改變時,這時面板每個角落中的電路就會計算出電場的改變程度,觸控面板控制器藉此檢測出觸控位置。
而所謂具觸控功能之顯示器,即是將一觸控面板模組與一顯示器面板模組貼合,藉此來提供觸控功能。第1圖所示為一傳統之具觸控功能顯示器10。顯示器10包括一觸控面板模組100貼和在面板模組200上方。觸控面板模組100包括一軟性電路板(Flexible printed circuit,FPC)101、一觸控面板控制器102形成在軟性電路板101上以及一觸控面板103。而面板模組200則包括一軟性電路板201、一面板驅動元件202形成在軟性電路板201上以及一顯示器面板203。
在此結構下,觸控顯示器10需使用兩個軟性電路板101及201來分別放置觸控面板控制器102和面板驅動元件202,如此之架構不利成本下降。
本發明之一目的即是在提供一種觸控顯示顯示器結構,藉由將觸控面板控制器和面板驅動元件形成在同一軟性電路板上,來降低生產成本。
本發明之一態樣在提供一種觸控式顯示器,至少包括:一觸控面板模組,其中該觸控面板模組包括一觸控面板以及控制該觸控面板之一觸控面板控制器;一顯示器面板模組,其中該顯示器面板模組包括一顯示面板以及用以驅動該顯示面板之一顯示面板驅動元件,該觸控面板與該顯示面板貼合;以及一軟性電路板,耦接該顯示面板,其中該觸控面板控制器以及該顯示面板驅動元件佈設於該軟性電路板上。
在一實施例中,顯示面板為一電子紙面板,而該電子紙面板為一電泳式電子紙面板、微機電顯示器面板、膽固醇液晶顯示器面板或電濕潤顯示器面板。
在一實施例中,觸控面板模組為一電阻式觸控面板模組中、電容式觸控面板模組或多點觸控式面板模組。
在一實施例中,觸控面板模組為為4線式電阻式觸控面板模組、5線式電阻式觸控面板模組、6線式電阻式觸控面板模組或8線式電阻式觸控面板模組。
在一實施例中,該觸控面板與該顯示面板間是以一導電性黏著物進行貼合。該黏著物為一導電膠,該導電膠材料為一ACF材料異方性導電膜或一含銀、金、銅導電金屬之材料。
綜合上述所言,本發明藉由將觸控面板模組和顯示器面板模組以導電膠方式貼和,並將觸控面板模組之控制器和顯示器面板模組之驅動元件整合在同一個軟性電路板上,來降低生產成本,具有相當優良之成本效益。
由於傳統之觸控顯示器架構需使用兩個軟性電路板來分別放置觸控面板模組之控制器和顯示器面板模組之驅動元件,如此之架構不利於成本控制。因此本發明藉由將觸控面板模組和顯示器面板模組以導電膠方式貼和,藉此觸控面板模組之控制器和顯示器面板模組之驅動元件整合在同一個軟性電路板上,來降低生產成本。以下將以電阻式觸控面板模組貼合在電子紙面板模組上為例來說明本發明之應用,然本發明並不限於僅能應用在電子紙面板模組以及電阻式觸控面板模組中。在其他之實施例中,亦可使用在液晶面板模組、電容式觸控面板模組或多點觸控式面板模組中。而電容式觸控面板可為投射電容式觸控面板模組或表面電容式觸控面板模組。
第2圖所示為一電阻式觸控面板模組之概略圖示。電阻式觸控面板模組210包括觸控面板220和觸控面板控制器230。觸控面板220是由一氧化銦錫(ITO)導電玻璃基板212、一氧化銦錫導電薄膜211以及間隙物213共同組成。其中,間隙物213將氧化銦錫(ITO)導電玻璃基板212和氧化銦錫導電薄膜211隔開,避免無觸摸時造成短路而產生誤動作。當以手指、筆或其他介質對面板觸壓,便可使上下層接觸造成短路並產生壓降,觸控面板控制器230即可藉由此壓降檢測出按壓座標。其中電阻式觸控面板模組為4線式電阻式觸控面板模組、5線式電阻式觸控面板模組、6線式電阻式觸控面板模組或8線式電阻式觸控面板模組。
第3圖所示為根據本發明一實施例將此電阻式觸控面板模組與電子紙面板模組組立時之上視圖。第4圖所示為從第3圖AA’線視入之側視圖。請同時參閱第3圖與第4圖。
本發明具觸控功能之電子紙顯示器300包括一觸控面板模組210、電子紙面板模組304和一軟性電路板307。其中軟性電路板307耦接電子紙面板305。觸控面板模組210包括一觸控面板控制器230形成在軟性電路板307上以及一觸控面板220。而電子紙面板模組304則包括一面板驅動元件306形成在軟性電路板307上以及一電子紙面板305。其中電子紙面板305,例如為一電泳式電子紙面板,由兩片基板310和311中間填充一電子墨水(圖中未顯示出)所組成。根據本發明,觸控面板控制器303和面板驅動元件306是共同設置在軟性電路板307上,與習知結構相較,可少一片軟性電路板,因此生產成本可下降。值得注意的是,在其他之實施例中,電子紙面板305亦可為一微機電顯示器面板、膽固醇液晶顯示器面板或電濕潤顯示器面板。
此外,在一實施例中,觸控面板220和電子紙面板305間可利用一具導電性質之黏著物410進行貼合,例如導電膠,而導電膠材料為ACF材料異方性導電膜或一含銀、金、銅等導電金屬材料。藉由具導電性質之黏著物410,可將觸控面板220和觸控面板控制器230間之線路引導佈設於電子紙面板305之基板311上,而與電子紙面板305和電子紙面板驅動元件306間之線路同時佈設,增加電路佈設之方便性。請再次參閱第3圖所示之上視圖,黏著物410之佈設位置可在觸控面板220的四角落,依此架構,若觸控面板模組210為4線式電阻式觸控面板模組,則其佈設在觸控面板220XY方向上之四條檢測線路,可分別與四角落之黏著物410耦接,藉以透過黏著物410之引導於基板311上佈設後續之走線,進而與形成在軟性電路板307上之觸控面板控制器230耦接。
綜合上述所言,本發明藉由將觸控面板模組和顯示器面板模組以導電膠方式貼和,並將觸控面板模組之控制器和顯示器面板模組之驅動元件整合在同一個軟性電路板上,來降低生產成本,具有相當優良之成本效益。
雖然本發明已以實施方式揭露如上,然其並非用以限定本發明,任何熟習此技藝者,在不脫離本發明之精神和範圍內,當可作各種之更動與潤飾,因此本發明之保護範圍當視後附之申請專利範圍所界定者為準。

Claims (8)
- 一種觸控式顯示器,至少包括:一觸控面板模組,其中該觸控面板模組包括用以進行觸控偵測的一觸控面板以及控制該觸控面板之一觸控面板控制器;一顯示器面板模組,其中該顯示器面板模組包括用以顯示影像的一顯示面板以及用以驅動該顯示面板之一顯示面板驅動元件,該觸控面板與該顯示面板貼合;以及一軟性電路板,耦接該顯示面板,其中該觸控面板控制器以及該顯示面板驅動元件佈設於該軟性電路板上,且該觸控面板透過一導電性黏著物耦接至該軟性電路板,以令該觸控面板得以經由該導電性黏著物耦接該軟性電路板上的該觸控面板控制器。
- 如請求項1所述之觸控式顯示器,其中該顯示面板為一電子紙面板。
- 如請求項2所述之觸控式顯示器,其中該電子紙面板為一電泳式電子紙面板、微機電顯示器面板、膽固醇液晶顯示器面板或電濕潤顯示器面板。
- 如請求項1所述之觸控式顯示器,其中該觸控面板模組為一電阻式觸控面板模組中、電容式觸控面板模組 或多點觸控式面板模組。
- 如請求項1所述之觸控式顯示器,其中該觸控面板模組為4線式電阻式觸控面板模組、5線式電阻式觸控面板模組、6線式電阻式觸控面板模組或8線式電阻式觸控面板模組。
- 如請求項1所述之觸控式顯示器,其中該觸控面板與該顯示面板間是以該導電性黏著物進行貼合。
- 如請求項6所述之觸控式顯示器,其中該黏著物為一導電膠,該導電膠材料為一ACF材料異方性導電膜或一含銀、金、銅導電金屬之材料。
- 如請求項6所述之觸控式顯示器,其中該黏著物係配置在觸控面板的四角落。
