Abstract

A walking trainer includes a frame, a power member, a transmitting device, and a pair of foot fasteners. The frame is for installing the power member thereon and the power member consists of a motor and an eccentric block connected with the shaft of the motor. Further the eccentric block is connected with the transmitting device. So the transmitting device is indirectly driven by the motor, consisting of two transmitting rods vertically connected with the eccentric block and two horizontal rods having their inner end connected pivotally with an upper end of the two transmitting rods. The two horizontal rods have their outer end respectively pivotally connected with a foot fastener for a user's foot to be bound with, and a point near the intermediate portion pivotally connected with the frame. Then when the motor rotates, it moves the eccentric block, which then moves the two transmitting rods alternately up and down, so the two horizontal rods move up and down alternately, with the two feet bound on the two foot fasteners also moving up and down alternately together the feet of the user who sits on a chair or lies on a flat bed. Then the user accordingly receives walking training.
