Abstract
Provided is a novel compound, antropyrroledione, which is isolated from Antrodia camphorota CCRC-35396. Its chemical structure is decided by analysis of the spectrum and X-ray scattering. Such a compound can effectively inhibit the expression of B type hepatitis surface antigen (HbsAg) and e antigen (HbeAg) under the non-cytotoxic concentration of 50 micro M. The inhibition rates are respectively reaching 35.2% and 12.8%.
