Abstract

The present invention provides a conduit fastened on a pipeline for inlet/outlet of cables and a method for laying a cable in a pipeline. The wall of the pipeline is formed with at least a through hole. The conduit includes a base having a top face and a bottom face, and a channel formed on the top face of the base and going through the top face and the bottom face. The conduit is detachably attached on the outer wall of a pipeline, and the channel is located on the opening end of the bottom face corresponding to the through hole of the pipeline. Another end of the channel is for the in/out of a cable. The invented method for laying a cable in a pipeline comprises: (1) forming a through hole at a selected position of a pipeline; (2) installing a conduit having a channel therein on the selected position so that the conduit is attached on the outer periphery of the pipeline, where one end of the channel corresponds to the through hole; and (3) laying a cable into the pipeline from one end of the channel.
