Abstract

A suspended ceiling structure intended in particular for a clean room, said suspended ceiling consisting of filter plates supported by a metal structure in the form of a horizontal lattice comprising girders (P1, P2) meeting at right angles, said girders (P1, P2) being equipped with upper channels cooperating when the girders (P1, P2) are fastened to each others as to provide a continuous channel surrounding each aperture of the lattice, forming a positioning support for a filter plate, said channels being filled with a substrate in which a peripheral support of said filter plate is inserted to ensure airtightness between the volumes situated either side of the ceiling structure, each girder including one or two horizontal lateral grooves (3) covering all its length and configured in slideways (2) wherein the slideway (2) of one girder (P1) is designed to cooperate with the fasteners (10, 11) secured to a girder (P2) which must be fastened perpendicularly to it, said fasteners (10, 11) projecting axially from the end of the latter girder (P2), in the region of said slideway (2), and being provided with means of adjustment (12) operated from one of its horizontal surfaces between at least one insertion position in any point of the slideway (2) of the perpendicular girder (P1), a sliding position in said slideway and a position for locking the girders (P1, P2) in a perpendicular configuration.
