Abstract

A method of reducing the tendency of a lyocell fabric to primary fibrillation, being the tendency of lyocell fabric primary fabrillation generated by dyeing and washing; featuring: before dyeing, keeping it in contact with a sort of oxidant aqueous solution selected from sub chlorate, peroxide of hydrogen and other oxides as oxidants and under a temperature range of 40 to 100 deg. C, being the content of the oxidant sufficient to lower the tendency of the primary fabrillation of the fabric.
