Abstract
Provided is an intermittent air generation device, which is excelled in applicability using a simple structure without the need for a pilot pressure-type on/off valve having a complicated structure. A passage switching valve formed by a three-port two-position pilot valve is used, which connects an inlet port and an outlet port and closes an exhaust port when the pressure in a pilot chamber is less than a prescribed value, and which closes the inlet port and connects the outlet port and the exhaust port when the pressure in the pilot chamber is greater than the prescribed value. A throttle element is disposed between a first pilot passage and a second pilot passage which connect the pilot chamber of the passage switching valve to an air pressure source. The second pilot passage on the downstream side of the pilot chamber or the throttle element is connected to the exhaust port of the passage switching valve by an exhaust passage.
