Abstract
To provides an insulated wire and coils using the insulated wire, as well as a manufacturing method of the insulated wire. The insulated wire can achieve coil miniaturization or increase the space factor, and such coils can be used in a power transformer or a switching power supply. An insulated wire (10) is adhesively connected and reeled into an insulated wire (10) for making coils, comprising a constituent metal (1) of plain wire, a plain wire (3) coated with compound coating film (2) which is formed by a compound for forming complexes with the constituent metal (1), and an insulating layer (5) covering the outer periphery of a twister (4) formed by twisting plural plain wirers (3) coated with a compound coating film. The compound coating film (2) is preferably an imidazole compound coating film for forming complexes with the constituent metal (1), the compound coating film (2) and the insulating layer (5) are preferably formed of materials decomposable at the welding temperature. Moreover, the aforementioned problem is solved by using coils (20) made of the insulated wire (10).
