Description

「分析上可偵檢」係指該示蹤劑或示蹤劑摻合物可藉由能區別該示蹤劑與該滅火劑或能夠測定該存在的示蹤劑之量或濃度的分析方法來偵檢。在發生含示蹤劑之組成物被稀釋的情況中,該示蹤劑化合物以少於原本加入該滅火劑的量存在,或在該藥劑-示蹤劑混合物中的濃度較低。分析性偵檢較少之量或濃度將有助於滅火產業,因為此種偵檢能夠警示產業稀釋、摻雜、或污染的發生。此外,製造
商、配銷商、及購買者將可藉由比較被偵檢的示蹤劑之類型、量、或濃度與原本存在於滅火劑中的示蹤劑之類型、量、或濃度,而得以驗證或識別該滅火劑的來源或供應商之真偽。
氣相層析(GC)係一種可用以偵檢及定量滅火劑中的示蹤劑或示蹤劑摻合物之分析方法。可使用能夠偵檢及定量示蹤劑化合物的任何GC偵檢器。此類偵檢器包括但不限於火焰游離偵檢器(FID)、熱導偵檢器(TCD)、電子捕獲偵檢器(ECD)、光離子化偵檢器(PID)、紅外線偵檢器(IRD)、及質譜儀偵檢器(當與氣相層析儀組合時,通常被稱為GC-MS)。可利用在偵檢前不需氣體層析分離的其他分析方法。該等其他分析方法包括但不限於核磁共振(NMR)或紅外線(IR)光譜法。
當本發明混合物係使用氣相層析分析時,可使用能夠識別及定量存在於該滅火劑中的示蹤劑之條件。用於分析的GC管柱必須經過選擇,以能夠將該示蹤劑化合物或該示蹤劑摻合物之組分自滅火劑分離。填充及毛細GC管柱兩者均可使用。較佳的GC管柱為已知能夠將氟碳化合物與同類化合物以及本發明之各種類別之候選示蹤劑化合物分離者。
可用於本發明之填充GC管柱係長度約1公尺至約12公尺者。通常,填充GC管柱係以不鏽鋼建造。可用於本發明之可購得之填充GC管柱包括但不限於:多孔性聚合物固定相,例如PorapakTM Q或PorapakTM T;矽氧聚合物固定相,例如SPTM-1000(於CarbopackTM B撐體上)或SPTM-2100(甲基聚矽氧)(於
SupelcoportTM撐體上)、全氟化聚合物固定相、FluorcolTM(於CarbopackTM B撐體上);以及聚乙二醇固定相,例如CarbowaxTM(在CarbopackTM C撐體上)。針對經聚合物塗布撐體所填充的填充GC管柱,該聚合物裝載量可介於約0.1%至約10%。此處所列之填充GC管柱可購自Supelco(Bellefonte,PA)。
可用於本發明之毛細GC管柱係可購自商業市場者。毛細管柱的長度可自約10公尺至約105公尺不等,但若將二或更多個管柱結合在一起則可更長(例如藉由結合二個60公尺毛細GC管柱成為120公尺)。可用於本發明之毛細管GC管柱大致上係以熔融矽石管狀物建造,且內徑(ID)自約0.1毫米至約0.53毫米不等。該毛細GC管柱的固定相係塗布在管柱的內表面上,且厚度可自約0.1微米至約5微米不等。可用於本發明之固定相包括但不限於可購得之液體聚合物相:RTx TM-1((CrossbondTM,100%二甲基聚矽氧烷)、RTx TM-200(CrossbondTM,三氟丙基甲基聚矽氧烷)、RTx TM-1301(CrossbondTM,6%氰基丙基苯基/94%二甲基聚矽氧烷)、RTx TM-1701(CrossbondTM,14%氰基丙基苯基/86%二甲基聚矽氧烷),以上皆來自Restek Corporation(Bellefonte,PA)。多孔層開管(PLOT)毛細管柱亦可用於本發明。此種PLOT毛細GC管柱包括但不限於CP-PoraPLOTTM Q(100%苯乙烯二乙烯基苯)管柱,來自Varian Chrompack(Middelburg,The Netherlands)。
GC分析的溫度及壓力條件取決於用於該組合物中的滅火劑及示蹤劑而異。當必要時,可使用低溫溫度(低於周圍溫度、需
要液態氮、乾冰、或液體二氧化碳)以提供低沸點組分(滅火劑或示蹤劑化合物任一)之分離。
示蹤劑化合物或摻合物可以可藉由任何經選擇之分析方法偵檢之濃度存在。此外,該示蹤劑濃度必須經選擇以使示蹤劑或示蹤劑摻合物的量不會干擾該滅火劑的性能。該示蹤劑化合物或示蹤劑摻合物可以約百萬分之50(ppm)(以重量計)至約2000ppm的總濃度存在。較佳的是,該示蹤劑化合物或示蹤劑摻合物係以約50ppm至約1500ppm的總濃度存在,且最佳的是,該示蹤劑化合物或示蹤劑摻合物係以約100ppm至約300ppm的總濃度存在。
本發明進一步關於一種使用本發明之含示蹤劑之滅火組成物之方法,該方法包含組合該示蹤劑化合物與滅火劑,以製成含示蹤劑之滅火組成物,以及偵檢該示蹤劑化合物是否存在於該含示蹤劑之滅火組成物中。該方法可進一步包括測量該示蹤劑濃度之步驟。本方法可用於(i)測定稀釋、摻雜、或污染的發生,或(ii)驗證該組成物之滅火組成物的來源。
製備本發明之含示蹤劑之滅火劑組成物,接著於不同分析條件下使用數種不同GC管柱來分析。在各實例中測定及提供該滅火劑流體及示蹤劑化合物的滯留時間。應注意的是,於特定氣相層析儀及以特定GC管柱上測得的確切滯留時間將與來自不同儀器及管柱所測得的滯留時間些微不同。
所有試樣係以相同方式於配備有火焰游離偵檢(FID)的Agilent 7890氣相層析儀/質譜儀(GC/MS)上分析。氣相層析管柱係長105公尺、內徑0.25mm的RTX-1管柱,具有1μm的薄膜厚度及Crossbond® 100%二甲基聚矽氧烷之非極性相。將1cc蒸氣試樣經由氣密注射器手動注入至175℃加熱注射埠,使用30:1的分流比及氦載體氣體。氣相層析儀烘箱先以液態氮冷卻至-20℃,且在注入時開始進行氣相層析。烘箱溫度程式先設定為維持-20℃歷時13分鐘,接著以每分鐘5℃的速度上升,直至烘箱溫度達到180℃。接著保持此最後溫度,直到分析結束。氦調節器設定在68psig,管柱流量設定在1ml/min,且管柱壓力設定在44.5psig。FID組態如下:氫流量為45ml/min,空氣流量為450ml/min,氦流量為17.56ml/min,且FID偵檢器溫度為250℃。
將FM-200®(HFC-227ea,或CF3-CF2-CF2H)之試樣與百萬分之100(ppm,以重量計)的Z-1336mzz(Z-1,1,1,4,4,4-六氟-2-丁烯,Z-CF3CH=CHCF3)組合。接著,藉由使用上述條件之GC來分析該試樣。HFC-227ea及Z-1336mzz的滯留時間顯示於表1中。
將FM-200®(HFC-227ea)之試樣與百萬分之100(ppm,以重量計)的全氟乙基異丙基酮((CF3)2CFC(O)CF2CF3)組合。接著,藉由使用上述條件之GC來分析該試樣。HFC-227ea及全氟乙基全氟異丙基酮的滯留時間顯示於表1中。
將FM-200®(HFC-227ea)之試樣與百萬分之100(ppm,以重量計)的HFE-72DE(由70wt%的反-1,2-二氯乙烯、20wt%的乙基九氟丁基醚、及10wt%的甲基九氟丁基醚組成之混合物)組合。接著,藉由使用上述條件之GC來分析該試樣。HFC-227ea及HFE-72DE的滯留時間顯示於表1中。
Claims (8)
- 一種含示蹤劑之組成物,該組成物基本上由一滅火流體及至少一示蹤劑化合物組成,該示蹤劑化合物係可分析偵檢,且選自由下列所組成的群組:氫氟碳化合物類、氘化氫氟碳化合物類、氘化烴類、全氟碳化合物類、氟化烯烴類、氟化酮類、碘氟碳化合物類及其組合,惟該滅火流體係與該示蹤劑化合物相異。
- 如請求項1之含示蹤劑之組成物,其中該組成物包含一單一示蹤劑化合物。
- 如請求項1之含示蹤劑之組成物,其中該組成物包含示蹤劑化合物或示蹤劑摻合物的量在約50ppm至約2000ppm的範圍內。
- 如請求項3之含示蹤劑之組成物,其中該組成物包含示蹤劑化合物或示蹤劑摻合物的量在約50ppm至約1500ppm的範圍內。
- 如請求項4之含示蹤劑之組成物,其中該組成物包含示蹤劑化合物或示蹤劑摻合物的量在約100ppm至約300ppm的範圍內。
