Abstract

The present invention is related to a mobile communication device antenna. The antenna comprises a circuit broad, a ground plane, and an antenna element. The antenna element is located on the no-ground region of the circuit board. The antenna element consists of a dielectric substrate, a radiating metal portion, and a feeding portion. The radiating metal portion and the feeding portion are both on the dielectric substrate. The feeding portion comprises a first metal element, a second metal element, and a shorting metal element. One end of the first metal element is electrically connected to the radiating metal portion. One end of the second metal element is electrically connected to a source by a feeding metal connecting strip. One end of the shorting metal element is electrically connected to the first metal element, and the other end of the shorting metal element is short-circuited to the ground plane by a shorting metal connecting strip.
