Abstract
A light shading structure suitable for being disposed on a substrate having a display and a non-display region is provided. The light shading structure includes a black matrix layer and a light shading layer. The black matrix layer is disposed on the substrate and defines multiple sub-pixel regions in the display region. The black matrix layer also covers the non-display region adjacent to the edge of the display region. The light shading layer is disposed on the black matrix layer in the non-display region and has at least one channel. The light leakage at the edge of the display region of the LCD panel can be solved by applying the shading structure. During processes of manufacturing the LCD panel, the contamination caused by the contacting of liquid crystal and sealant can be avoided by the light shading structure. Moreover, a color filter substrate, an active device array substrate and a LCD panel having the light shading structure are also provided.
