Abstract

A moisture-permeable material for wigs which is excellent in moisture permeability, can prevent stuffiness during wearing a wig and can be easily attached. Namely, a moisture-permeable material for wigs having a three-layered structure comprising a porous polyurethane employed as the core material, a mesh layer made of a synthetic fiber or a natural fiber which is located in the side to be brought into contact with the head of the core material and a fiber layer made of a synthetic fiber or a natural fiber for planting artificial hair or natural hair which is laminated in the other side of the core material, wherein the three-layered structure has a moisture permeability (determined in accordance with JIS L-1099A) of 8000 g/m<SP>2</SP> 24 hr or above, a tensile strength of 90 N/in. or above and a tear strength of 15 N or above.
