Abstract

A system of correcting a defect in a color filter is provided, correcting defects of a color filter comprising a plurality of image units, each of which comprises a plurality of pixels. The system of correcting a defect in a color filter comprises: image processing unit (3) comparing lightness of a target pixel of defect detection against a pixel located in an image unit separating from the image unit to which the target pixel belongs, detecting the defect on the target pixel according to a result of the comparison; correction unit (50), performing a laser illumination process and/or a ink blotting process on the color filter.
