Abstract

The present invention discloses a method for tracking the maximum power point (MPPT) of the photovoltaic system by impedance matching theory. The method is based on the physical characteristic of the solar cell (photovoltaic cell) and the resist value variable with sunlight can be obtained by dividing the short circuit value by the open circuit value, so that the maximum power point can be tracked. Further, the photovoltaic system can reach the load matching the photovoltaic system by regulating the duty period of the converter, and the system can keep at the maximum power point (MPP).
