Abstract

The present invention provides a microporous polyethylene film which the film-forming characteristic is promoted by β crystallization method that could manufacture film continuously and produce a cheap microporous film. Further, a microporous polypropylene film which has more high porosity and the penetration is improved highly. The microporous polyethylene film has a β crystallonucleating agent-containing polyethylene as the essential content, the Gurley gas permeability is less than 500 sec/10 ml, and substantially has pore without core. The microporous polyethylene film comprises ethylene.β-olefin copolymer, and/or has a Tmc which is less more than 30 DEG C than the Tmc of β crystallonucleating agent-containing polyethylene, and is consisting of a resin which is insoluble in the propylene.
