Abstract

A PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) power saving method is provided. When the PDA is not operated for a long time, a power saving supervising module operates the system to enter a deep standby mode and compresses the working data in the RAM (Random Access Memory) to be an image file for being stored in a non-volatile RAM. If the storage space is not enough, the image file is stored into an external storage device. After completing the above mentioned actions, the whole PDA power is turned off, so as to avoid the power consumption of keeping the working data in the RAM of the PDA.
