Abstract

The present invention relates to a process for recycling and reusing waste medium for mushroom culture, which comprises a step of extracting the waste medium for mushroom with hot water, a step of separating liquid from solid, and a step of purifying the resultant liquid to obtain polysaccharide. According to the present process, it is possible to obtain high value polysaccharide from waste medium for mushroom culture and resolve the environmental problem associated with discarding the waste medium as before.
