Abstract
The invention provides liquid crystal panel and liquid crystal display apparatus in which a color shift is remarkably improved. The LCD panel processes a backlight part for the polarized light emitted, an optical compensation layer, a first polarized filter, a liquid crystal unit, and a second polarized filter. The Nz of the better optical compensation layer is between 1and 3. Preferably, the optical compensation layer is an oriented film of a polymer film having the main component of cellulose ester or polycarbonate. Preferably, the backlight part for emitting the polarized light includes a light source part for emitting a natural light and a linearly polarized light separation film.
