Abstract

To provide an optical pickup device comprising an object lens (1) for condensing light beam on the information layer of disk media, an object lens driving unit for driving the object lens (1) in the focus servo direction and track servo direction, a correcting lens (14) disposed at the same optical axis as that of object lens (1), and a correcting lens driving unit for driving the correcting lens in the same direction as the focus servo direction so as to control the state of the light beam entering into object lens, whereby the miniaturization of optical pickup device and the high speed displacement of correcting lens are possible. Moreover, even at the time when current is not supplied, the position and postures of correcting lens can be maintained, and the variation of position and posture of correcting lens can be prevented.
