Abstract

Provided is a sheet substrate for a wet sheet having less movement of liquid even on storing the same in a state of laminating plurally with the liquid impregnated. The sheet substrate for the wet sheet consists of a fibrous sheet having 3-layered structure equipped with a pair of outer layers and an inner layer positioning between the outer layers, and used for clean-wiping of a body by impregnating with the liquid. The mean distances among the fibers of each of the outer layers are both 3-35 μm, and the mean distance among the fibers of the inner layer is 1-25 μm. Each of the outer layers has larger mean distances among the fibers than that of the inner layer. It is preferable that the mean distance among the fibers of the outer layer is 101-1,000% of that of the inner layer.
