Abstract

The present invention relates to a multi-pole connector (3) for coaxial cable and includes a housing (27), an electromagnetic shielding cover (29), and a holder (3b). The housing (27) is used for holding a connecting point (28) including a first crimping blade (37) for crimping the central conductor (25a) of a coaxial cable (25). The electromagnetic shielding cover (29) covers at least a part of the housing (27) and includes a second crimping blade (42) for crimping he external conductor (25c) of the coaxial cable (25). The holder (3b) is used for holding the end (24a) of the wire assembly (24) between the housing (27) and the holder (3b) and includes a connecting part (47), a first pressing part (50, 51), and a second pressing part (54). The connecting part (47) is used for connecting with the housing (27). The first pressing part (50, 51) and the second pressing part (54) separately press the internal insulator (25b) and the external insulator (25d) towards the first crimping blade (37) and the second crimping blade (42), respectively.
