Abstract

Karbonat bağlı, presle kalıplanan ürün, su barındıran bir partikülat, karbonatlanabilir malzemenin presle kalıplanması ile ve karbon dioksit gazı ile elde edilen kompakt yapının karbonatlanması ile üretilmektedir. Ürünün optimal bir sıkıştırma mukavemetinin sağlanabilmesi amacıyla iki tür denet sağlanmaktadır. Birinci türde deneyde, partikülat malzemenin bir numunesi, artan bir kompaksiyon basıncı ile sıkıştırılmaktadır ve suyun belirli bir kompaksiyon basıncından olduğu gibi malzemeden dışarı atılması durumunda, presle kalıplama adımı, bu kompaksiyon basıncından en az 7 MPa daha küçük olan bir kompaksiyon basıncı ile gerçekleştirilmektedir. İkinci türde deneyde, partikülat malzemesinin farklı türde numuneleri, farklı kompaksiyon basınçları ile presle kalıplanmaktadır ve kompaksiyon basıncının serbest bırakılmasından sonra, kompakt yapının yoğunluğu saptanmaktadır. Belirli bir kompaksiyon basıncından olduğu gibi bu yoğunluğun artmak yerine azalması durumunda, presle kalıplama adımı, bu belirli kompaksiyon basıncından daha küçük olan bir kompaksiyon basıncı ile gerçekleştirilmektedir.
