Abstract

Bahsedilen değişken uzunluklu kodlama aparatı, bir parametre tablosunu, birim verinin bir kuantizasyon parametresinin başlangıç değerine dayalı olan başlangıç değerlerine göre ayarlayan bir tablo ayarlama aracını; birim verinin bir kuantizasyon parametresinin sözü geçen başlangıç değeri ile ilgili başlangıç bilgilerini kodlayan bir başlangıç bilgisi kodlama aracını; parametre tablosuna başvurularak alt verinin kodlanmasında kullanılacak kodlama parametrelerini elde eden bir birinci parametre elde etme aracını; elde edilen kodlama parametreleri aracılığıyla alt veride aritmetik kodlama yürüten bir alt veri kodlama aracını; ve alt veri kodlama aracıyla aritmetik olarak kodlanmış alt veriye dayalı parametre tablosunu güncelleyen bir parametre tablosu güncelleme aracını içerir. Bahsedilen değişken uzunluklu kod çözme aparatı, birim verinin bir kuantizasyon parametresinin başlangıç değeri ile ilgili kodlanmış başlangıç bilgisinin kodunu çözen bir başlangıç bilgisi kod çözme aracını; parametre tablosunu birim verinin bir kuantizasyon parametresinin başlangıç değeri ile ilgili kodlanmış başlangıç bilgisine dayalı olan başlangıç değerlerine göre ayarlayan bir parametre tablosu başlangıç aracını; parametre tablosuna başvurularak alt verinin kod çözümünde kullanılacak kodlama parametrelerini elde eden bir ikinci parametre elde etme aracını; elde edilen kodlama parametreleri aracılığıyla kodlanmış alt veride aritmetik kod çözümü yürüten bir alt veri kod çözme aracını; ve alt veri kod çözme aracıyla aritmetik olarak kodu çözülmüş alt veriye dayalı parametre tablosunu güncelleyen bir ikinci parametre tablosu güncelleme aracını içerir.
