Cerrahi drapeler, sargi bezleri ve yara bantlarina yönelik bir yapiskan gibi, içerisinde tibbi uygulamalarda kullanilmak üzere genis spektrumlu bir antimikrobiyal eleman dagilimi bulunan yapiskan bir bilesim saglanir. Yapiskan, akrilik polimerler, yapistiricilar ve tercih edilen bir antimikrobiyal elemandan, diiodometil-p-tolilsufon, meyadana gelir. Buraya konu olan yapistirici bilesim, ya temel olarak solventsiz sicak bir eriyik olarak ya da antimikrobiyal elemanin bir emülsiyonunun ve fazla solventin ortadan kaldirilmasinin önlendigi solvent bazli bir sistem olarak formüle edilebilir.
