Bulus, asagidaki asamalardan olusan, sivi formda dökme metalin vakumla islenmesi islemi ile ilgilidir: Sivi formdaki dökme metalin metalurjik bir kepçeye konulmasi ve 0.4 ve 0.6 m arasinda bir koruma yüksekligine ulasilana kadar kepçenin doldurulmasi, adi geçen kepçe üzerindeki atmosferi vakum altina getirip ayni anda islemin tamami veya bir kismi boyunca adi geçen kepçenin tabanina helyum enjeksiyonu ile birlikte karistirarak metalin isleme tabi tutulmasi.
