Formül (I)'in kamptotesininin kamptotesin türevleri açiklanmaktadir, burada R1,R2 ve R3 tarifnamede açiklanmis olduklari gibidirler.Formül (I)'in bilesikleri antitümör etkiler ile donatilmislardir ve iyi bir terapetik gösterge ortaya koyarlar. Formül (I)'in bilesiklerinin hazirlanmasi için olan islemler ve tümörlerin, virüs enfeksiyonlarinin ve antiplasodium falciparum'un tedavisinde yararli olan ilaçlarin hazirlanmasinda bunlarin kullanilmalari da açiklanmaktadir.
