Abstract

Agaç ve diger selüloz ürünlerinin alev geciktiricilik, insektisit ve fungisit özelliklerinin iyilestirilmesi için muamele ürünlerini üretme yöntemi. Ilk olarak kolemanit gibi bir kalsiyum borat cevheri, asetik asit gibi bir asit ile reaksiyona girer. Çözeltideki kalsiyumu da kapsayan reaksiyon ürünleri daha sonra,amonyak ile muamele edilerek amonyum pentaborat olustururlar. Olusan bilesim, basinç, difüzyon, veya daldirma ve/veya batirma islemi gibi yöntemlerle agaç ve diger selüloz ürünlerine uygulanir. Ürünler geleneksel tedavi yöntemleriyle karsilastirildiginda üstün su sizintisi direncine sahiptirler.
