Description

The subject of the invention is a method of manufacturing a continuous trictate electrode for manual and semi-automatic electric welding and cladding.

Such electrodes are made of metal tape rolled up into a tube with a longitudinal or other seam.

The proposed method in comparison with the known has the advantage that it accelerates the production process of the electrode and significantly reduces its cost. This is achieved by the fact that the tape, prior to its passage through the spinnerets, is subjected to preliminary electrical heating, as a result of which the process of rolling it into a U-shaped billet is facilitated and, after filling it with slag-forming powder-like filler, into a tube.

For the implementation of the proposed method, a tape made of welding can be used.

проволоки круглого сечени  путем расплющивани  ее в вальцах.round wires by flattening it in rolls.

The drawing shows a schematic diagram of the manufacture of electrodes according to the proposed method.

12.The wire rod is unwound from the unwinding device 2 and passes between the rollers 5. The rollers flatten the wire into the tape 4, which, the passage between the contact jaws 5. connected to the transformer 6, is heated to the required temperature. Afterwards, the tape is heated and B spinnerers 7 enter, which bends its edges, as a result of which an I-shaped preform is formed. This preform passes through the hopper 5, where it is filled with slag-forming powdery filler 9, and then enters the second spinneret JO, which bends its edges, pressurizing the filler and giving the electrode a tubular section. The finished electrode // is wound onto a drum 12.
