Изобретение относитс к металлообработке , а именно к нарезанию резьбы метчиками. Известен метчик, перед заборным конусом которого расположена резьбова направл юща с внутренним диаметром, шагом резьбы и углом профил , равными соответствующим параметрам резьбы рабочей части I. Недостатком этого метчика вл етс то, что он не устран ет наличи погрешности захода метчика из-за его смещени в начальный момент резани в результате возникновени неуравновешанной радиальной составл ющее силы резани . Цель изобретени - повышение точности образуемой резьбы. Поставленна цель достигаетс тем, что направл юща выполнена с многозаходной резьбой, число заходов которой равно отношению шага резьбы метчика к рассто нию между ос ми зубьев направл ющей, меньшему щага резьбы метчика в кратное число раз. При этом число перьев резьбовой направл ющей равно числу заходов ее резьбы. На фиг. 1 схематично изображен предлагаемый метчик, общий вид; на фиг. 2 - то же, вид со стороны передней грани пера. Метчик состоит из направл ющей 1, заборного конуса 2, калибрующей части 3, вл ющихс элементами рабочей части 4. Внутренний диаметр DBH. шаг Р и угол профил «р резьбы выполнены одинаковыми. Резьба направл ющей выполнена многозаходной . При этом число заходов резьбы равно отнощению щага резьбы метчика к рассто нию между ос ми зубьев направл ющей Р, т. е. п 5-, где п - число заходов резьбы направл ющей ступени метчика. При выборе числа заходов резьбы направл ющей учитываетс то обсто тельство, что наружный диаметр полученной резьбы должен быть равен или больше наибольшего с учетом допуска диаметра отверсти под резьбу. Например, если шаг резьбы метчика равен 2, то стандартный р д шагов, меньших этого шага, представл етс следуюш.им образом: 0,2; 0,25; 0,3; 0,35; 0,4; 0,45; 0,5; 0,6; 0,7; 0,75; 0,8; 1,0; 1,25; 1,5; 1,75.
