Description

The subject of the invention is an optical set-top box for obtaining a stereo effect to a cinema projector lens.

The difference of the proposed optical console from the known ones is that it is made in the form of a prism installed in front of the projector lens. The rays reflected from its faces to two mirrors are directed to the screen through two lenses of different apertures or from one mirror through the lens, and from the second mirror directly. This achieves the possibility of obtaining an impression of stereoscopicity when designing ordinary movies on the separation screen.

The drawing shows a diagram of such an optical set-top box.

In front of the web 1 there is a separating screen 2 made of thin wires located at small distances from one another.

In front of the projection apparatus 3, a prism 4 is installed, from which the rays travel in two directions and are projected onto the screen with the help of mirrors 5 and 6 at an angle of 45 °.

To get the impression of stereoscopy when designing an ordinary movie on a separating screen, in front of the mirror 5 an optical attachment 7 is installed, with which the usual image can be projected onto the screen in an enlarged or reduced form, without changing the magnitude, size, film frame.
