Description

The proposed machine is designed to clean the weaving of the burd from the burrs formed by the shuttle when it is incorrectly moved due to the breakdown of the weaving looms. In the proposed stack, a knife is fastened on a rotating shaft and moving along the reed by means of a strap rigidly connected to the knife. For polishing the berX, there is a double brush moving along the reed by means of a driver receiving movement from a screw rotated by a toothed pair.

The operation of the weaving bird cleaning machine is as follows. Burdo 5 (fig. 1) with burrs is laid in frame 7 (fig. 1 and 3) of angular iron and clamped in it by wing 9. Then the belt coming from the transmission is put on a stepped pulley 33 (fig. 2), the axis of which serves as a square roller rotating in ball bearings 2, and with which sits knife 1, made of steel, the edges of which are cut into a cone are notched with a velvet notch (Fig. 1 and 2). When rotating together

with a square roller 3, wedged with a notched cone in reed 5, the knife 1 removes burrs from it. To ensure a smooth transition of the knife from the tooth to the tooth, one edge is cut off. To advance the knife 1 along the reed 5, there is a passset 4 rigidly connected to the knife 1 and movable on the hub 26 of the rotating roller 3.
