Abstract

FIELD: mineral dressing. SUBSTANCE: as collector in potassium chloride floatation process, hydrazide salts of general formulain the form of emulsions are used, where R is C- C-alkyl and Xis acid anion. Utilization of hydrazides offers the following advantages as compared to currently usable amines: reduced toxicity of process due to replacement of toxic amines with less toxic hydrazide salts;, increased efficiency of floatation process; reduced (by 1.3% in average) potassium chloride loss with tails; increased (by 2.7%) extraction of potassium chloride into concentrate. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process and improved environmental condition. 2 tbl
