Abstract

FIELD: pharmaceutical industry. SUBSTANCE: this method prescribes using ossified horns of male and female reindeer as starting stock, cleaning and comminuting stock, carrying out extraction step with use of water-alcohol mixture at temperature of 80 to 90 C during 12 to 16 h. Following steps are freezing rantarin extract at temperature of minus 10 to 15 C during 10 to 14 h, centrifuging it for 20 to 40 min at 5000 to 6000 rpm, and finally decanting liquid containing desired product. Disclosed method allows reducing process time to 22.5 30.5 h against 15 days required by prior art and cost of starting stock four times. EFFECT: greater intensification of process and cost effectiveness.
