года), наличие титра специфических антител (титр не менее 1:400) в реакции агглютинации .year), the presence of a titer of specific antibodies (a titer of at least 1: 400) in the agglutination reaction.

1:400.Each plasma series is prepared according to FS 42-164-72 approved by the head of administration for the introduction of new drugs and medical equipment dated September 29, 72, from the blood of one donor who had had salmonellosis and containing an antibody to the pathogen in titles of at least 1: 400

Donors were permitted to a single plasmapheresis in accordance with the Instructions for the medical examination of blood donors dated October 17, 1978.

In the finished preparation, the antibody titer should not be lower than 1: 400. The drug is produced in dry form with a shelf life of 2 g.

Example. Patient R-al V.A. 2 months For 2 days, the history of Ms 1434, nausea, acute vomiting, frequent loose stools with mucus, convulsions, became acute. After 12 hours from the moment of illness, he was taken to hospital. Salmonella typhimurium culture was isolated from sowing feces. The diagnosis was established: salmonellosis, gastroenteric form, severe course. In the hospital, the child's condition remained severe, the body temperature rose to 39 ° C, repeated vomiting, frequent loose stools with mucus, and convulsions. The child was given intensive therapy with the introduction of saline solutions and specific immune antisalmonella plasma. On the second and third day, 50 ml of the drug was intravenously administered to the child. Reactions to the introduction of plasma was not. After 6 hours after the administration of antisalmonella plasma and the child vomiting stopped, the general condition improved, the breast began to suck on its own, urination began, the body temperature normalized, the stool became mushy up to 2 times a day, without pathological impurities. After 1 day, 50 ml of antisalmonella plasma was re-introduced.

Reactions to the drug was not. On the 9th day the child was discharged home

Follow-up observations for 1 g showed normal development of the child, without repeated diseases of intestinal infections,

The method allows to reduce the treatment time of children who received specific antisalmonella plasma to 14 ± 3 days, i.e. almost two times faster than traditional combination therapy
