Изобретение относитс  к оборудованию пищевой промышленности, в частности к машинам дл  мойки овощей и фруктов. Целью изобретени   вл етс  повышение качества мойки и надежности работы машины , При вращении барабана плодомоечной машины спираль 5, закрепленна  внутри него , вращаетс  совместно с барабаном и перемещает плоды от зоны загрузки к зоне выгрузки. Бокова  поверхность барабана образована валками 1 с эластичными элементами , установленными в торцовых обоймах 11 и 12. Валки 1 с эластичными элементами выполнены двух типоразмеров с различными наружными диаметрами и размещены с обеспечением чередовани  валков большего и меньшего диаметров, при этом центры вращени  валков 1 расположены на одной окружности, а отношение боль- шего наружного диаметра валков с эластичными элементами к меньшему составл ет 1,17. Валки 1 с эластичными элементами вращают в одну сторону с одинаковой угловой скоростью, при этом линейна  скорость перемещени  эластичной моющей поверхности соседних валков различна , что сообщает плодам вращение с одновременной их пробуксовкой, в св зи с чем увеличиваетс  длительность контакта с трением плодов и эластичных элементов . 1 з.л.ф-лы, 4 ил.
