Abstract
FIELD: refractory materials production. SUBSTANCE: β′ sialon production method provides for preparation of exothermal mixture, having 20 - 70 mass % nonburning component - silicon and/or aluminum is used as nonburning component - and 30 - 80 mass % of nonburning component - one of following oxygen-containing materials is used as nonburning component: silicon oxinitride, aluminum oxinitride, aluminum silicates, aluminum nitrate, silicon hydroxide, aluminum hydroxide. In the case, ratio of the components provides after thermal treatment chemical composition of β′ sialon. Charge is subjected to thermal treated in mode of layer by layer firing under temperature of 1800 - 2500 C under pressure of nitrogen-containing gas of 0.1 - 500 MPa. Share of β′ sialon in produced powder is no less than 99 %. EFFECT: β′ sialon powder production method is used in refractory materials production. 4 cl, 1 tbl
