Изобретение относитс к машиностроению, а именно к изготовлению резьбовых изделий, и может быть использовано при нарезании резьбы в гайках. Цель изобретени - упрощение процесса нарезани резьбы за счет снижени трудоемкости процесса изменени линейных размеров заготовки. Перед нарезанием резьбы заготовку гайки на части ее высоты сжимают осевой силой, затем производ т нарезание резьбы. После удалени инструмента снимают осевую силу сжати .
