The purpose of the invention is to achieve complete processing of sulfur dioxide. According to the invention, a 1-3% solution of nitric acid is supplied to the middle of the reaction zone. A condensate for the rapid cooling of ammonia-converted nitrous gases or other effluent containing nitric acid can be used as such an acid, and in the oxidation of sulfur dioxide an additional peroxomonosulphate 3-4% by weight of sulfur dioxide, and cyclic acid of the electrochemical method of hydrogen peroxide production, which is a production waste, can be used as such an acid. 2 hp f-ly, 1 tab.
Description
The invention relates to methods for producing sulfuric acid by the nitrotic method and can be used in the chemical industry.
The purpose of the invention is to ensure complete oxidation of sulfur dioxide.
76,1%.Example 1. Production sulfuric acid is fed to the denitration zone, where it is blown with roasting gas, which then with a temperature of 350 ° C and with 10% sulfur dioxide content is sent to the reaction zone irrigated from above with nitrosa with a concentration of 4.9 mas,%, calculated on nitric acid and with a sulfuric acid concentration of 80%. In the middle of the reaction column serves 33 g of condensate containing 3% nitric acid. Peroxomonosulfuric acid in an amount of 3% by weight of sulfur dioxide (1.32 g) is additionally introduced to the stage of oxidation of sulfur dioxide. Sulfur dioxide in the gas after the reaction column is absent, the degree of processing it is 100%. The concentration of production acid is 76.1%.
The table shows examples 1-10 of carrying out the method with the same mode: a gas load of 150 l / h, a temperature of 350 ° C, a concentration of sulfur dioxide in a gas of 10%, a concentration of irrigating nitrosis 4.9% HNOa, its amount 1.73 kg / h, temperature 55 ° C and the amount of water supplied 500 g per 1 kg of production acid.
As follows from the table, the proposed method provides 100% processing of sulfur dioxide, i.e. an increase in the degree of oxidation of sulfur dioxide from 96.4-99.8% to 100%, as well as the possibility of utilization of aqueous solutions containing nitric acid and sulfuric acid wastes containing persulfuric acid.
