Abstract
The invention relates to the production of optical fiber and can be used to strengthen the fiber during its production. In order to increase the tensile strength of the fiber, the composition for optical fiber treatment includes, in wt%: ceresin 0.2-0.8, the rest perchlorethylene. The average value of the tensile strength of the fiber is 660-677 MPa. 1 tab.
Description
The invention relates to the production of optical fiber and can be used to strengthen the fiber during its production.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the tensile strength of the fiber.
Дл получени покрыти раствор нанос т на волокно в процессе его выработки .The required amount of ceresin is introduced into the vessel with perchlorethylene and the mixture is heated with stirring to the dropping point of ceresin. When the solution becomes clear, it is cooled to room temperature. To obtain a coating, the solution is applied to the fiber during its production.
The compositions and properties of the fiber are given in the table.
It follows from the table that the tensile strength of the fiber increases "2 times when applying the proposed composition.
