Abstract
FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, production of sponge iron of adjustable carbon concentration independently on degree of metallization. SUBSTANCE: aim is to improve quality of product and to increase shaft furnace productivity. Method is realized during reduction in shaft furnace of by feeding of carbon oxide in amount of 1.9 - 5.0 mm/t to raise concentration of carbon by 1 % or for the purpose temperature of reduction gas is reduced by 9 - 20 C. Usage of the method increases productivity of furnace and accuracy of carbonization process adjustment. EFFECT: improved quality of product and increased productivity of furnace. 2 cl, 1 dwg, 2 tbl
