Abstract
FIELD: high-voltage pulse equipment; can be used in electrophysical installations for generation of picosecond high-voltage pulses. SUBSTANCE: the generator shaping circuit uses series-connected coaxial shaping line 2, first transmission line 3, high-resistance shaping line 6 with internal electrode 7, second transmission line 8 with internal electrode 9. Cut-off spark-gap 13 is parallel- connected to the input of line 8. The fact that internal electrode 5 of line 4 is cylinder-shaped with a radius much smaller than the radius of internal electrode 7, and gap 12 formed by internal electrodes 7 and 9 is much smaller than the gap between the internal and external electrodes of line 4 makes it possible to increase the amplitude of generated signal, with the effectiveness of decoupling between lines 4 and 6 remaining unchanged. EFFECT: increased amplitude at decreased length of shaped pulse. 1 dwg
