Abstract
FIELD: equipment for cleaning gas and liquid. SUBSTANCE: separator has vertical housing 1 divided by horizontal partition 2 into upper and lower separating chambers. Tangential inlet device 5 for liquid to be subjected to separation is disposed below partition 2. Axial tube 6 connects upper and lower chamber. Axial outlet branch pipe is positioned above axial tube 6. Shielding plate 9 is secured in lower chamber below axial tube 6. Recirculation tube 10 extending along housing axis is adapted for connecting lower and upper chambers. One end of recirculation tube 10 is connected to upper chamber through axial tube wall and other end is disposed above shielding plate in spaced relation with respect to its surface. Recycled gas and separated liquid are conducted from upper chamber 3 along tube 10 into reduced pressure zone on plate 9, where liquid is spread into thin sheet and is discharged into liquid collector. Gas released from separator is conducted to housing wall and liquid particles present in main flow are urged to adhere to this wall. EFFECT: increased efficiency of separation and wider operational capabilities by intensified suction and separation of recycled gas. 3 cl, 4 dwg
