Цель изобретени  состоит в повышении надежности работы за счет предотвращени  заклинивани  при бурении лунки с различной плотностью льда. Режуща  головка шнекового ледобура содержит держатель 2 со сменными ножами 3. Кольцевой элемент 6, имеющий цилиндрическую форму, закреплен над ножами 3, при этом режущие кромки ножей 3 выступают за наружный диаметр защитного кольцевого элемента 6.
