The invention relates to metallurgy and can be used in the production of large forgings and rolled billets from electroslag ingots of fluke sensitive steel.
The aim of the invention is to reduce the scrap metal on the floc.
Example. In the mold section of square. 565 mm of consumable electrodes square. 370 mm under flux ANF-6 ingots of 4 t in weight were made of floc-sensitive steel of type 32X2HBMBR. After slow cooling and subsequent annealing, the ingots were aged in air for a duration of 7-10 hours for each centimeter of their thickness (16-23 days), as well as less than 7 and more than 10 h / cm thickness. Then, ingots were placed in a heating furnace, heated to a predetermined temperature, and then forged
VV
For each production variant, 15 ingots were deposited over the forgings (the total metal weight of each batch was 60 tons).
The test results are shown in the table.
As can be seen from the table, the exposure of EFP ingots of flock-sensitive steel after they are annealed before being placed in a heating furnace for 7-10 hours for every centimeter of thickness is most beneficial for preventing the formation of flocs for forgings or ingots, which leads to a significant reduction in scrap metal on floken.
