Изобретение относитс к области черной металлургии, в частности к конструкционной стали, используемой дл изготовлени с большим объемом работ резанием лезвийным инструментом деталей маишн сложной конфигурации , подвергающихс при эксплуатации высоким изгибным и ударным нагрузкам, например дл коленвалов. Цель изобретени - повьшение усталостной прочности и прокаливаемости стали. Сталь дополнительно содержит алюминий при следующем соотношении компонентов, мас.%: углерод 0,38-0,47; марганец 0,8-1,1; кремний 0,17-0,37; ванадий 0,08-0,18; бор 0,001-0,005; азот 0,005-0,025; селен 0,010-0,090; сера 0,036-0,080; алкминий 0,005-0,080; железо остальное, при условии, что отношение селена к сере 0,2-2,2, отношение селена к алиминию 0,4-8. Применение стали позвол ет повысить срок службы коленвала не менее, чем на 10%. 3 табл.
