Очиститель головок свеклы от ботвы на корню содержит горизонтальный вал 1, несущий гибкие очистительные-элементы 5, Каждый из элементов 5 закреплен на валу 1 своей средней частью, выполнен в виде сплющенной спирали и имеет ширину в направлении вдоль оси вращени  вала 1, превьшающую толщину очистительного элемента 5. При работе очистител  вращающиес  вместе с валом 1 очистительные эле- менты 5 воздействуют своей гребенчатой поверхностью на головки свеклы, сдира  с них ботву, 2 ил.The invention relates to the field of agricultural engineering.
