Description

There are known adaptations to automatic capping machines for cutting plugs using a movable blade knife horizontally installed under the capping chuck of an automaton.

The proposed device is more sophisticated, since it allows a smoother cut of the plugs.

This is achieved by the fact that at one end the knife is articulated with a spring-loaded connecting rod, and the other with help, and with a roller that interacts with a lifting-release copy.

The fixture (see drawing) is installed on the capping machine and performs reciprocating dvNSenie vertically using spring-loaded rod 1. It is made in the form of a plate 2 with a hole 3, into which that part of the tube passes, which is to be cut.
